Just IN.. THE BODY FOUND BY RRS POLICE, IS NOT OF DR ALLWELL ORJI

Less than 72 hours after Dr. Allwell Orji of Mount Sinai Hospital plunged into the Lagos lagoon along the Adekunle-Adeniji end of the Third Mainland Bridge, the search for his body still continues.
Moments ago, reports surfaced on social media that the body of the doctor was found at the Onikan end of the Lagos lagoon by divers of the Lagos State Marine Police.
The report was also corroborated by Channels TV but the station, however took down the report few minutes later.
Similarly, the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) shared the same information saying “body of Doctor who jumped into Lagos Lagoon on Sunday evening has just been recovered by Marine Police.”
However when contacted by InsideMainland, the RRS disclosed that the body found in the lagoon was not that of the Doctor.
“The mother of Dr. Allwell Orji had come to identify the body and she said the deceased wasn’t her son”, RRS said.
Meanwhile, the management of Mount Sinai Hospital, where the late Dr. Orji worked declined comment on the matter.
When contacted, an officer of the hospital who identified herself simply as Mercy told InsideMainland that “we are not authorized to speak on the matter. He was one of us and the management is grieving with the family on this sad incident. It is best you direct all inquiries to them
